Lovely large jet black doctor bag style 1950's-60's Harry Rosenfeld alligator skin handbag! Great voluptuous shape and design by this highly coveted designer with beautiful jet black belly skins, "belted" exterior front pocket, skin and leather-backed top handle or shoulder strap, skin covered top frame, and solid brass hardware. The exterior is in excellent condition. The interior is a black and bone genuine leather with 3 open and 1 zippered side pockets - signed "Rosenfeld." The bone leather shows some color loss primarily on the inside gussets, which impacts the rating. The interior is in very good condition. Make no mistake, this is a fabulous bag with tons of life left. Would make a perfect every day bag!
