Large 1940's-50's HORNBACK CROCODILE Skin PORTFOLIO/Case
Primitive and fabulous, extra large 15 x 10 hornback crocodile skin portfolio document case from the 1940's-50's. Wonderful full back "horns" (osteoderms) that wrap from front to back with all-leather laced edges. There is a 2" "battle wound" on the front scutes/scales, but nothing that compromises the integrity of the piece and personally feel that it adds to the character of the piece. Soft camel colored genuine leather interior with 3 large expanding folder pockets, showing some expected marks conducive with age, but in undamaged condition. A fabulous, very hard to find item!
