An amazing and rare find by Germaine Guerin - the Parisian designer who was responsible for Chanel's iconic 1955 quilted handbag - the 2.55! Gorgeous 1950'-60's jet black crocodile porosus skin handbag features premium center cut belly skins that are perfectly symmetrical on both sides with flank skin gussets and bottom. Double gold tone chain link handles and two exterior pockets with clasped middle section, all lined in a spotless, super soft kid skin genuine leather featuring 2 open and 1 snapped side pockets - signed "Germaine Guerin, Paris," and features his logo in gold on front. Some very mild pitting on gold keeps this beauty from Mint. A gorgeous bag, and a must for collector's and fashionistas alike!
