Louise Fontaine exotic skin bags are highly coveted due to their exquisite craftsmanship, premium skins, and that they are no longer made anymore - quality is equivalent to Hermes. Louise Fontaine was a famous "maroquinier sellier"' (leather goods saddler) for the belgian beau-monde (wealthy) of the 50's-60's and had a high-end store on Avenue Louise in Brussels. Stunning quality skins and construction on this piece of art with impeccably matched, perfectly symmetrical center cut underbelly skins done in a glossy finish! Structured top handle with gold plated twist front clasp (shows a very mild color fade on edges).
