Another stunner by Mr. Van Schaak!  Lovely custom made 1950's-60's cranberry red lizard skin handbag shoulder bag with double chain "X's" by Martin van Schaak! Beautiful red lizard skins with shiny gold tone double X chains on each side, adjustable lizard skin top strap, and skin covered top frame with exterior pockets. The clasped middle section opens to a spotless interior done in a lovely oxblood red genuine leather with 2 open and 1 zippered side pockets - signed "Martin van Schaak, New York." A beautiful bag by this highly sought after vintage designer who catered to the ultra-wealthy and socialite circles. There are some scratches on the top clasp and some very minor fading on gold tone detailing which keeps this beauty from mint.
