REMARKABLE Indiana Jones Style Early 1900's Edwardian Hornback Alligator CLUTCH Bag - HEAVY!

Outstanding rugged skins on this incredible chocolate brown early 1900's Edwardian hornback alligator clutch bag with full (large) osteoderms (back scales) that wrap from front to back. This was a very large alligator! Skins are heavy and in nice condition with skin-covered top frame and locking  solid brass top clasp and side locks. It appears upon close scrutiny there was originally a handle on the top, but you can't tell unless you really look. Gorgeous mustard genuine leather interior is remarkably clean with only mild signs of use, and features one long open side pocket. A gorgeous, substantial bag weighing in at 2 lbs. empty! Nearly impossible to find these bags in this condition! If not for some very minor skin loss on top frame, and lack of original handle, this bag would be near mint! Amazing!
