Wonderfully unique shape on this lovely red 1940's-50's deco style alligator skin shoulder bag or handbag by Madeline Pags. Glossy alligator belly skins cover the entire bag with shiny gold tone frame and chunky inlaid skin top clasp. The 1.5" thick skin and leather backed top handle is in nice condition showing some minor edge lifting on a few of the scales, but no breaks or separations. The interior is a clean red genuine leather that features 2 separate compartments and 2 open side pockets - signed "Madeline Pags, Genuine Alligator." There is some mild, age related darkening on the interior leather, but otherwise, a beautiful little bag in great shape!
