Rare Petite BLACK Early 1900's Edwardian Alligator Handbag

Lovely and rare BLACK early 1900's petite Edwardian hornback alligator handbag with full osteoderms (back scales) that run from front to back. Skins are fabulously supple with solid brass fittings and top clasp (works perfectly!) and thick structured rolled skin covered top handle. Clean tan grosgrain/cotton fabric interior with one long open side pocket shows typical indications of use, and slight wearing to the fabric in 2 places, but no stains. An exquisite bag in a rare color for this style! Certain to generate plenty of conversation!
