Rare NAVY BLUE 1950's ALLIGATOR Belly Skin Handbag - RENDL

Beautiful rounded design on this fabulous and rare 1950's dark navy blue alligator belly skin handbag by RENDL Original! Supple skins with silver tone hardware, structured skin top handle which lays flat when resting, and skin covered flip down front clasp.  The exterior skins are in lovely condition and it appears from the inside that the top outside edges by the top hardware were professionally reinforced at some point? You can't see this from the outside and have to look close on the inside to notice.  Interior is a clean ivory and navy blue genuine leather with 3 separate sections, including a zippered middle pocket,  showing only minor signs of use and two faded pen marks on one interior pocket.  Features 2 open side pockets, 1 zippered pocket, and a matching tethered change purse - signed "Rendl Original." A gorgeous, timeless designer bag in a great color!
