Rare CREAM 1960's MARTIN VAN SCHAAK Lizard Skin Handbag - Lucite
Another unique design on this lovely cream Martin Van Schaak 1960's lizard skin handbag with dramatic Lucite link hardware and double skin top handles! Skins are supple with no damage (including handles) but do show some very small marks here and there which is sometimes found with the lighter colored vintage skin bags. The handles lie flat when resting and there are 2 exterior pockets with a clasped middle section. Clean interior shows some mild signs of use and age with some minor color loss on the interior gussets, no stains, and is a cream genuine leather with 2 open and 1 zippered side pockets and a spot for lipstick - signed "Martin van Schaak, New York." A highly collectable bag by a much sought after vintage designer!
