Lovely Brown Early 1900's Edwardian HORNBACK Alligator Handbag

Lovely brown skins on this early 1900's Edwardian hornback alligator handbag with full osteoderms (back scales) that wrap from front to back in one full piece. Skins are fabulously supple and glossy with original braided skin top handle and sliding solid brass top clasp. Skin covered top frame has some intermittent leather loss, as common with many of these older bags. Mustard genuine leather interior is in pre-loved condition with indications of use and wear but no tears.  A lovely little bag from days gone by!
