Large 17" 1940's-50's Chocolate DECO Style ALLIGATOR Skin CLUTCH

Great size on this gorgeous 17" long chocolate brown 1940's-50's deco-style alligator skin clutch! Terrific use of alligator flank (side) skins in a great Deco pattern design on each side, in a large, unusual shape! Skins are glossy and gorgeous and are in soft, supple condition with zippered top closure and triangular skin pull. Interior is a spotless brown grosgrain fabric with 2 open and 1 zippered side pocket(s). The grosgrain fabric shows some general color variations from age (there are no stains or damage) and the interior top frame leather shows some very mild signs of use, but otherwise, the bag is in beautiful, sound condition! A remarkable bag in a great size!
