Large 14" 1908 Brown Edwardian HORNBACK ALLIGATOR Skin Handbag

Gorgeous and large 14" long chocolate brown 1908 Edwardian hornback alligator skin handbag with full osteoderms (back scales) that wrap from front to back in one whole piece! Skins are soft and supple with double solid brass top locks and clasp (work perfectly!) and thick structured rolled skin top handle and skin covered frame (shows some very minor skin loss on frame, often seen in bags of this age and style). Interior is a remarkably clean (shows some light, typical signs of use - no damage!) dark mustard genuine leather with one long side pocket. A beauty!
