HUGE 1940's Hornback Alligator SATCHEL Tote with Bakelite - DEITSCH

Stunning HUGE 1940's hornback alligator SATCHEL tote bag with large bakelite and brass top clasp by DEITSCH. Terrific Deco design with soft, supple hornback alligator skins that run down the front with matching smooth belly skins on the back, bottom and gussets. Strong skin and leather double handles (show some wear and some old reinforcements on back, but no breaks). Bakelite and brass clasp has a decorative alligator skin half-circle in front to pull bag open. Interior is very roomy and done in a tan genuine suede which shows signs of age but no damage - 1 flapped, 2 open pockets - signed "Deitsch."
