Fantastic and Rare HAND WOVEN 1940's ALLIGATOR Skin Clutch Bag

Amazing craftsmanship and great envelope design on this rare 1940's woven alligator skin clutch with braided looped skin covered button front closure. Each piece is intricately woven to create this lovely bag. Spotless brown grosgrain fabric interior features 1 open and 1 back zippered pocket - signed "La France." There is some very slight wear on the top right edge, but otherwise amazing shape! A true piece of art and absolutely stunning!
