Gorgeous, petite early 1900's Edwardian hornback alligator tail skin shoulder evening bag with solid brass frame, clasp and chain strap. The chain strap is removable for clutch carrying and undoubtedly a replacement for what once was a rope or braided leather handle. Tail skin wraps in one solid piece from front to back, and is in lovely condition. Solid brass top clasp opens to reveal a remarkable clean mustard colored genuine leather interior with 1 open side pocket. A great little bag from days gone by, perfect with jeans or a night out at the Opera!
