Classic 1940's-50's Brown CROCODILE Skin Clutch Bag

Beautiful and soft 1940's-50's brown crocodile skin clutch purse made by Calvet Paris in Argentina, which was one of the principal French designer labels (Callot Soeurs)! Bags by Calvet Paris were custom-made for their individual American, European and Argentine clients, and as a result are quite rare and unique! Unique front exterior pocket with an open internal pocket and tuck in front flap with no visible hardware (very desirable)! Terrific skins in a beautiful Deco style design. Interior is a near spotless (1 small mark on interior flap - picture 3 top right) brown genuine leather with 2 open side pockets and a matching change purse. In 2005, Marcela Calvet re-launched her family brand with inspiration from these fabulous original vintage designs! A gorgeous bag in lovely condition!
