1940's CRITERION 15" Long RED Alligator Skin Clutch Bag - Bakelite Clasp
A rare find! Gorgeous, 15" long 1940's deep red alligator skin clutch purse with large rootbeer colored Bakelite top clasp by Criterion! Classic, sophisticated design with buttery soft, supple skins and chunky rootbeer Bakelite top clasp. Front and back are slightly gathered adding the perfect touch of feminine! Top clasp opens to a clean dark red silk lining (shows some VERY minor color variations) with 2 open side pockets and a tethered change purse - signed "Criterion Purses." A lovely bag in a hard-to-find color and great old Hollywood style!
