1940's-50's RED Python Snake Skin Handbag w/BAKELITE Frame
Great design on this lovely 1940's-50's dark red Deco style python snake skin handbag with large bakelite/lucite top frame! Large scaled red skins with double skin handles and large bakelite/Lucite hinged top frame. Interior is a spotless black silk/fabric with 3 open side pockets - no signature, but looks like a Bass or Gaber bag.The frame has some minor surface scratches and some slight lifting on a few scales typical from age, otherwise lovely condition!
Measurements: 8.5" H x 11.5" W x 2" D, Handles add 5.5" to height
