Gorgeous design and detailing on this rare, original 1940's-50's chocolate crocodile skin and filigree gold tone vanity handbag by Tyrolean, N.Y. Stunning crocodile belly skins are inset into the front with filigree roses and inlaid brown silk that cover the gussets, top and bottom. Matching skin top handle is in glossy, unblemished condition. Top clasp opens to reveal a spotless brown grosgrain fabric with 1 ruched open side pocket and an attached vanity mirror that has only two small blemishes/pitting, otherwise perfect - signed "Pat. by Tyrolean, N.Y." A terrific and hard-to-find original!
