entire front flap and handle with embossed/tooled
genuine leather covering the body of
the bag. Snap front closure opens to
reveal a remarkably spotless light tan
genuine suede interior with 1 open pocket,
1 zippered pocket and a tethered change
purse. A highly unusual bag and a wonderful

antique double alligator tail skin handbag
with huge front paw from 1904! In case
you haven't noticed, we LOVE
these bags! The paws and back skins
were used often during these times to
create no confusion with embossed "wannabe's!"
Gorgeous, dramatic cocoa brown skins
with double tail scales on
each side that that wrap from front
to back with huge alligator front paw
(all nails intact!), original curved,
rolled skin top handle, solid brass
hardware and push button top clasp that
has "Pat. Jan. 2, 1904" stamped
on back. Frame skin is fully intact,
and interior is a spotless
dark mustard
genuine leather with one long side pocket.
