1950's-60's Black HORNBACK
CROCODILE Skin BRIEFCASE Attache (#G1a-8)
Gorgeous 1950's-60's hard-sided
jet black hornback crocodile skin briefcase
attache! This fabulous
case appears to have been rarely used,
if ever! Strong, solid construction with
beautiful hornback crocodile skins that
cover the front and back, with silver
tone trim (shows some very minor pitting
from age, but no color loss or significant
wear) and locking top clips (2 keys are
included!). Spotless mustard yellow velvet
interior has 3 large expandable side pockets,
a card holder and a spot for pens. Perfect
for laptops, business papers, or whatever
else you may need for work! A fantastic
statement piece!
Unusual 1920's-30's vogue
alligator paw wallet/change purse that
used to belong to Ester Schildkraut!
Lovely, supple
skins with a
fold over flapped alligator paw snap
front and a carrying hand strap on back.
Interior has 3 compartments -
2 outside pockets and a clasped center
section for coins. Interior and sides
are a brown leather showing some typical
wear for its age but no damage. We don't
know who Ester was, but we do know that
she was from Hot Springs Arkansas as
she loved this bag so much she wrote
her name and hometown on the interior
flap - so charming! You would never
know this little girl was almost 100
years old!

The skins and all stitching are in remarkable
condition for age, showing some signs

compartment on top. A few of the leather
straps on the interior are missing, but
could easily be replaced if wanted, but
